CP FFA Prospect Show Rules and General Information for 2024
Thank you for your interest in showing your livestock project at the Cavalier Classic. Our top priority is to afford young people an opportunity to show their animals in a high quality environment. We look forward to seeing you in January please let us know if you have any questions.

GENERAL RULES
Write in your own weights (Weigh back at judges discretion)
Show open to all counties.
Exhibitors must be enrolled in 4-H or FFA programs, unless they are a pee-wee showman.
You can show from the trailer
No stalls will be available.
No shavings
Battery powered clippers please
Clean up after yourself
ALL judges' decisions are final.
No Refunds will be given
Showmanship is $10 each time and must be paid online via the Showman App. We will NOT be accepting money at the gate.
Pee-wee showmanship is free, but they still need to enter online, can be with the main exhibitor’s entry. If you have any issues with PeeWee please let us know, we want them to show!
Three rings will be provided: one for swine, one for lambs/goats, and one for cattle.
Showmanship is divided as follows:
7 years old & Under- Pee-wee (Champion Banner & Individual Banners)
8-10 years old Intermediate (Buckle)
11-13 years old Junior (Buckle)
14-19 years old Senior (Buckle)
Each class will be broken down as evenly as possible.
Show rings will attempt to wait for an entry who is exhibiting in another ring, but substitutes may be used.
LAMBS- ewes can show with wethers
Two divisions.. Division I- Fine wool, Southdown, Dorper, and Fine wool-cross. Division II- Medium wools.

MARKET GOATS- wethers can show with does
